Recall that during the 2008 campaign, Mr. Obama said that adding $4 Trillion to the debt in 8 years was irresponsible and unpatriotic. I wonder which words he'd use to describe adding almost $6 Trillion in only 4 years.

No wonder this guy is already slinging mud. I wouldn't want to run on his record either.

(To be clear, Obama's record doesn't make the Bush Administration's increase of the national debt a good thing. It's just awe-inspiring how much less totally horrible it makes it seem by comparison. I get queasy thinking that the debt increase during the next President's time in office could make the Obama debt increase seem quaint.)
